Big congrats to the students who earned a book from the vending machine this week! It's the best feeling watching those big smiles as you pick out your next great read.
Keep it up — you're rocking it! And remember... 📚 Reading isn't just the reward — it's the adventure!

Apply2College Day is always an emotional rollercoaster of an event for EF seniors! Excitement, anticipation, uncertainty, bitter-sweet, overwhelm, anxiety, happiness, relief, ..... the list goes on. This group got so much done. There favorite parts of the day may have been playing volleyball, coffee, and pizza, but they did admit it was a relief to be so productive. Each senior completed at least three college admissions applications which gets them in the running for many freshmen scholarships at those colleges, FAFSA IDs in hand, many got their portion of the FAFSA done, resumes updated, and several other college and career prep tasks. They finished the day off by sharing with the sixth graders their future plans and wisdom- Listen and respect your teachers, don't procrastinate, study and get the best grades you can, and get involved were just a few. A special thanks to the UNK and UNL admissions reps who attended to help us out. It was a great day to be a Knight!

Mrs. Rexing’s Ag Math class has been busy this week exploring how technology supports the ranching world. Students used onX maps to analyze pastures and calculate how many cow-calf pairs could graze for a set period of time. Along the way, they worked through “what if” scenarios, best- and worst-case situations, and discussed how management decisions can impact both cattle and the land. In the end, students agreed that following best practices is always the top priority!
